Why should you hire a photographer from the States?

Hiring a photographer near your home ensures a few things.

You can meet with the photographer before hand to make sure he/sure are right for you.
You can work with the photographer on your engagement session and/or boudoir session.
You can choose and receive the quality of images you expect for the paying the price you are.
You get a custom photographer. Not a photographer reminiscent of a theme park photographer.
There won’t be a language and/or communication barrier.
You will have a photographer for the whole week, not paid by the hour on one day.

What should you know before asking my rates?

A little research needs to go in before you ask me what my rates are for a destination wedding. Before you contact me, make sure you have the answers to these questions:

Where is the wedding being held?
How important is photography on my wedding day?
How long will we be at destination in question?
Will you need Terra for extra activities like snorkeling, horseback riding, welcome parties?
What additional sessions would like to do? (Trash the Dress, Boudoir, Engagement, etc.)

What is included in my destination pricing?

Most of what I include is non-negotiable. I’ve found over the past few years these items make mine AND your experience much more enjoyable.

A second shooter. – I am a part of the shooting team (IMO Ink), so unless otherwise specified, I will always be traveling with my business partner Josh Marshall. I do this, not only for my own safety in a foreign country, but because I want to make sure that EVERY part of your amazing wedding is covered!
2 additional sessions – These cover an engagement session, Trash the Dress, Boudoir, and Bridal Session. They can happen either at the wedding location OR in your home town. If your home town is NOT within a 2 hour driving distance of Washington DC, all travel expenses and lodging (if necessary) are to be covered as well.
2 session books – These session books ARE not albums, but gorgeous canvas colored coffee table books. They can include images from ANY part of of your wedding adventure and any of the sessions covered above!
My time for any activities you will be hosting and want photographed – This means, the cost of the events (tickets for boat rides, snorkel gear rental, horse back riding fees, etc) are NOT covered…BUT I am at your beck and call for your trip. If you have a snorkel trip at 7AM, I’ll be on the dock at 6:30.
Unlimited coverage of events – Whatever event you need me for, I am there. Having a welcome party? Reception Dinner? We’re there…
Full Day of Wedding Coverage – Self explanatory, I would think! On the morning of your wedding day, Josh and I will meet you to photograph you getting ready (and the dudes getting ready too of course). We continue your wedding day until the last guest heads out of the reception area. Party hardy!!!
