On October 3rd AND October 17th of 2012, IMO Ink (that’s ma NEW business!!) will be teaching a workshop in Silver Spring, MD.
Now…I know what you’re thinking. But Terra, you’re going to be living in Seattle! Yes. You are correct. I’m starting a new business with my best friend and fellow photographer, Josh Marshall in the great Emerald City!
But I’ll be back for the entire month of October for three weddings, two workshops AND MY SISTER’S BABY SHOWER! w00t for happy things!
So, what are these workshops?
In a nutshell, I am offering two three hour sessions on editing in Lightroom and Photoshop. I start with the basics and quickly head into the more advanced editing techniques. I will go over IMO’s entire workflow from import to blogging.
Both classes are identical, so just pick a day that works best for you!

The workshop will take place at the Silver Spring Civic Building at Veteran’s Plaza.
Be sure to bring:
A laptop with your charging chord
A memory card reader
Your most recent shoot of RAW files STILL on your memory card.
We will Provide:
FREE IMO Ink Actions for you to use in Photoshop
Snacks and dinner
Power Strips for your laptops
More About the Shoot You Should Have Prepared:
You should absolutely bring images from the most recent shoot with you to work on. We will go over our entire workflow starting with import, but as long as you have at least 5-6 RAW files to work on in both programs…and a pen and paper to take some good notes, you’ll be fine!
You should also have Photoshop CS4 or later installed on your computer, as well as LR 4 or later. If you don’t own either of these have no fear! You can download the 30 day free trial from the Adobe website.
